How to make papered cover

 

 

 

1. Cut the chipboard into the desired shapes with the craft knife.

 

2 .Cut the paper[paper?:paper sample maker cutting machine] for the outside cover so that it is 1 inch larger on all sides than the chipboard. Fold the extra paper to the wrong side and crease it with the bone folder.

 

3. Slip the chipboard under the flaps so that the extra paper wraps to the back of the cover.

 

4. Glue the paper to the cover, taking care to avoid wrinkles or bubbles.

 

5. Cut the paper for the inside cover to match the size of the chipboard.

 

6. Glue the inside cover paper to the chipboard, covering the lapped front paper.

 

7. Punch assembling holes evenly along one edge with the awl.

 

8. Embellish your cover with whatever materials you like.

 

9. Protect your covers by affixing clear contact paper to both sides.
