Cotton pulp price edged down

Cotton linter market continued to show soft appearance with falling rates during the first half of this last fortnight in the Chinese domestic market. Cotton linter market kept softening and there were very few buyers. Downstream consumers were showing little interest at these rates and prices are expected to remain stable to soft in the short term. Supply was ample, and fresh linter would be available in two months, but buyers held a bearish outlook. Given lackluster downstream demand, the price is expected to keep softening. Cotton pulp price edged down and trade was stalemated.
