Acrylic sheet is much more flexible than glass or many other building materials in many aspects.
First, acrylic sheet have good response to temperature changes. It expands or contracts better than glass whenever there is a temperature change. Second, acrylic sheet also has excellent resistance to many chemicals. Third, acrylic sheet is an excellent insulator. the surface resistivity of acrylic sheet is higher than that of most plastics. Fourth, despite hard conditions of heat, cold, sunlight, and humidity, acrylic sheets maintain their original appearance and color.
All acrylic sheets are shatter-resistant, earthquake safe, and burglar-resistant. Even with its strength and durability, acrylic sheets are only half the weight of glass.
