German film manufacturer starts packaging film plant in SIP

New RMB 185 mil facility in Suzhou Industrial Park to be completed by early 2013. Klockner Pentaplast Group has begun the construction of its first film[film?:film cutting machine] plant in China.

Located 80km west of Shanghai in the Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, China, the new film plant will produce packaging[packaging?:DCP-H series packaging sample cutter plotter] films for the growing domestic Chinese market. The first phase of production capacity will focus on transverse-direction oriented shrink label films, used primarily for full- or partial-body shrink-sleeve applications. The film plant will increase Klockner Pentaplast’s global shrink-films production capacity by 6,000 metric tons.
