Enviromental effect of packaging

Life in the 21st century is dominated by packaging[packaging?:DCP-H series packaging sample cutter plotter]. From food to everyday products to gadgets, nearly everything we buy comes wrapped up, and a lot of the time it’s in packaging that’s harmful to the environment.

Even though lots of supermarkets have cut down on packaging for food, buy any modern gadget and the chances are it’ll be dwarfed by the amount of protective wrapping that accompanies it.

Recycled cardboard is a slightly more environmentally way of doing things, but it still takes lots of energy to collect, recycle and produce the cardboard into something useable.
